Question About Roper Oven 24996XOA
burned up heating element...

I have misplaced my manual. The bottom heating element glowed bright orange after turning it off then slowly dimmed then glowed brighter and arked with a small flame then that stopped but element would not stop glowing until I found the right plug to turn off in the electric box.
