i tried for half an hour even let three friends have a go we followed the manual instructions to the letter. We could not get 00:00 to flash to input the time what ever you did the timer returned to 1:00 This is our second microwave as the first one we bought same model we sent back had the same problem and it did not shut of when you opened the door
