How do we replace the Thermostat Sensor in a Samsung side by side fridge/freezer? (Model SRS536NP) The fridge is working but the freezer is not freezing. All the other major parts are fine and in good working order but we can't find out how to replace the sensor. Thanks in advance.

5 When the fridge is getting cold enough, but the freezer isn't that is generally a sign that you have a coolant leak or a failing compressor. But, you can try checking the condenser coils and fan. The condenser coils release the heat that the refrigerant gathers from inside the refrigerator. The fan helps cool down the coils, which prepares the refrigerant to remove more heat from the fridge. Dust builds up on the coils as a result of airflow, and that dust insulates the coils keeping the refrigerant from cooling down, which makes it less able to absorb more heat. Cleaning the coils may be enough to get the temperatures down inside the freezer. You also want to check the condenser fan. If it isn't working the refrigerant won't cool off either. I've found foreign objects stuck in the fan blade, keeping it from spinning. I've found the blade stuck on the housing around it due to the housing being bent during delivery. If those aren't the problem, the motor may be bad and needs to be replaced. If none of those are your problem, then we're back to the leaking coolant or failing compressor, which, if it's not under warranty, means it'll be cheaper to replace the whole refrigerator.
