5 The water is most likely coming from your freezer. In the back of the freezer compartment, which can be access thru removing a few covers and panels. You will find the evaporator fan, freezer coils, and a drain port under the coils. When the freezer go into defrost mode after the cooling period, it then defrosts to remove frost from the coils. The condensation then drip down to the drain port and flow thru a tube under the freezer compartment, and then down to a pan near the compressor. Sounds like your drain port is clogged up and spilling water to the inside of the refrigerator compartment. But, it can be a little more than just a clogged drain. Check all the screws for rust inside of the freezer. Nothing on the coils would rust because they are aluminum, and the drip pan under the coils is aluminum. However, there is metal around the evaporator fan motor, such as the motor bracket, and the coil around the motor (unless it is a plastic sealed motor), and the screws that holds everything together around the coils, as well as the screws securing the covers and panels, can rust. If I can be of any further assistance, please feel free to ask.
