Question About Scotsman Ice Ice Maker CME506
water diagnostics problem...

From one day to the next, a water diagnostics light blinks twice then repeats. No ice will form. We have the manual, did all the maintenance it calls for, called a tech, and nothing. The tech advised us to purchase a new transformer, but it still does the same thing. Any ideas? We need ice!!!

0 Finally! We talked with another tech and he had us replace the float sensor. Although the transformer voltage was low, the float sensor was the problem. Thought I would post the solution in case anyone else ran across the same problem.
