Question About Seal-a-Meal Food Saver dazey seal-a-meal
How to seal a bag thats on the roll...

I bought a large roll of bags and my seal a meal won't let me make bags, it won't seal the open end . I've tried to seal it while it's still on the roll and also have cut it to length with no luck.

0 I have a Seal A Meal II, when sealing bags the red light on unit must come on to apply power to heat strip, you may have to press fairly hard on both ends of unit to make light come on and then within 30 seconds bag should be sealed. If light comes on but won't seal bag the heater strip may be burned out. If light doesn't come on with pressure on lid the micro switch may be bad.
