5 there are two screws in the top of the microwave - should be accessible through the cabinet. There are also two screws in the front, top of the microwave - one on either side, behind the vent fan. Remove all four screws (two on top and two in front) and it should slide right off.

0 I don't have the manual, but I did get it off of the wall. I used a phillips head screw driver, tin snips, brute force and a blow-torch. It ain't goin' back up.
