repeated similar problem of arching due to deterioration of this 4x4 cover plate. previously I have taken it to local appliance repair for a new plate but am wondering if i can get the material myself to save. It's been 40.00 each time to replace and appears to be a material easy to cut and drill one hole to mount. any ieas on where to get this material, what is is made of?? thanks, Guy. g.rogliano@hhconsulting.comcastbiz.net
