have just bought the Lidl SMW900 microwave and find that when I put food in it for recommended time the midlle is still cold. Wjhat do you suggest?

4 Similar to the picture, when microwaving food in any microwave always put the thicker part of the food towards the outside of the plate. If heating something such as spaghetti even consider take a space out of the middle of the pile of spaghetti. If this doesn't help the problem to be sure to check the wattage on your microwave and and the power level it is currently set on.
