My DWA 157X SMEG dishwasher seems to be stuck in "END* ( on the digital display ) - all the icons flash around "END" and the lights are on, on the bottom 2 buttons on right hand side - have tried switching off - pressing buttons etc. it is only about 6 months old - any advice much appreciatede

10 I had the exact same symptom. Tried and pushed all sorts of combinations until I opened the door with the power on, pressed and held the start/stop button, lower right, and while holding the button shut the door. Presto back to life.

6 Many, many thanks ksawyer. Ours fritzed itself this morning and all technical support could suggest was to switch the power off at the power point and wait for 15 minutes. To no avail. :( Tried your method and "Presto!!! We have a functioning dishwasher again. :D

3 yep ...all fixed ,,,, the guy that came to fix it said he had never seen the problem before ....... he tried reset about 10 x (i had already tried a few times too) and was going to order another electrical board but he tried one more reset and it has been fine since

0 Thanks so much, one reset and all the buttons were active. Just started a wash cycle... So happy now don't have to do a mountain of washing up!!!
