I can't get the protective cover off to change the...

I can't get the protective cover off to change the oven bulb. Should I have a tool with which to do this? In the absence of such a tool, any advice on how to remove the cover?

0 No. It tells me to remove the cover. And THAT'S my issue. I can't get it to move. That's why I asked the question.
