We have a Smeg oven 310 W-S, seral no. 6040308410....

We have a Smeg oven 310 W-S, seral no. 6040308410. Its and electic oven and is cooking too quickly. Does this oven have a temperature sensor to bring electric element on and off and can this setting be lowered? Where is the temperature setting located and how is this done?
