WHERE is the off position for the switches on an E600H electric hob? we have an electric hob and when we switch it on at the wall, all the rings warm up. The hand written instructions in the rented cottage say that the 2 o'clock position is hottest and that the dials move anti-clockwise. It's not clear where the off position - we have experimented but with conflicting results
