Question About Sunbeam Blender 4816-8

How do you remove the bowl from the machine? It has two plastic white horizontal extensions on the machine that click into the bottom of the bowl. Is there a trick to turning it so it can come off to be cleaned? Pls. adv. Barbara Carbajal @ barbra2@gmail.com
