The two beater things for the mixmaster heritage 2...

The two beater things for the mixmaster heritage 2346 I inherited are different. Does it matter which slot which beater thing goes into. I don't want to have it wreck as soon as I turn it on because I inserted them into the wrong slot. Help! I am in the middle of a cookie,. This is an emergency for me.
