I have a tappan double stove larger base smaller top I'm guessing 70's the lower oven door just wont close. I've not a problem for 30 years can anyone help. It stay;s open about an inch and wont close

0 Good Morning richiecoors, thank you for your post! Based off the information you have provided the door on your Tappan double oven will not close all the way. This sounds like a possible issue with the hinges or door on your oven and they may need to be replaced. I understand your oven is over 30 years old and in order to locate parts you may need to perform a generic search online for antique parts. Manufacturers do not typically keep parts for appliances after they are ten years old. Best of luck! –OOS
