0 Hello jimni_98, thanks for your post! It sounds like your magnetron may have a possible problem within your Tappan microwave. I would perform a reset on your appliance which can be done by disconnecting power from it for roughly ten minutes. If that does not correct the issue I would recommend seeking assistance from a professional to properly diagnosis and replace parts. Some of these intricate part replacements do require precision and patience, therefore when replacing such components or removing them from your appliance, I would suggest seeking professional assistance. One must be very careful as there certain replacement parts could result in potential harm. –Matt
