0 I appreciate your post, jpree62! I understand that pilot has gone out on your Tappan gas range. It is recommended to have a professional technician come out and repair your range. Typically, within the new ranges there is an electronic igniter to start the burner within your gas range. If that component has gone out it would help avoid any personal injury by allowing a technician to come out and properly diagnosis your range. Hopefully this information has been helpful to some degree. -OOS
