Question About Tappan Range ES100
burner light will not shut off, burner has cooled ...

burner light will not shut off, burner has cooled off, but even after filpping breaker, jigglling knob, turning knob off and on, removing the burner. Light remains. Is this safe. Could burner come on full and remain on ? Help ! Any suggestions ?
