Tappan gas range model TGF365CHSF. The oven doesn...

Tappan gas range model TGF365CHSF. The oven doesn't heat up to programmed temperature anymore - roughly 50 degrees low based on a temperature gage we keep in there. Lately it also gives off a smell - not propane, more like no fully combusted gas I think. Not a lot - just noticable at times. Burners still work fine.
