When the dishwasher is turned on (On/Off Button) and before the Start/stop button is even pressed the heating element immediately turns on and can be heard heating the tiny amount of water remaining in the empty washer. Also if a washing cycle is initiated at 8pm, the heater element is still active the next morning. How do I correct this problem? I'm afraid this is a fire risk.
