Question About T-Fal Fryer Deep Fryer Serie F 36 C

I bought this deep fryer last month and cannot keep the plug in. It's magnetic and the slightest touch or movement makes it fall out - dangerous when young kids are here/ Can anyone please tell me how they get their plugs to stay in - would appreciate the help . Thanks
