my cooktop does not show any of of the light on the board but it does heat up. what is the problom?\

5 We've had the problem twice and now you have to call Bosch for reconditioned boards (no longer in production). But the problem occurs because the gasket around the door gets compacted letting heat get up into the control panel. If you replace the boards, have the gasket replaced at the same time.

0 I had a similiar problem a couple of years ago. The lights were so dim that you could hardly see them but the oven worked fine. I called a service tech and they had to replace the Control Kit which was pretty pricey. You can buy it yourself for about $269.00. Took the tech about 7 minutes to switch it out, but he made two trips out here. One to determine the problem and the second to replace the part after he ordered it, so I had to pay for two service calls.
