I bought a Toastmaster popcorn popper a while back & never used it. This product was kept dry. I used it for the 1ST time today & it literally burned itself out. I put the popcorn in the popper & turned the popper on. It seemed to work fine for about 15 seconds. Next thing I know, I'm hearing a grinding noise. A few seconds later, the popper came to a dead stop & I started smelling smoke. Needless to say, I unplugged it immediately & put the popper on my balcony.. If this product is any indication of your products, I will never again buy another Toastmaster or Salton products.
