Question About Toastmaster Kitchen Utensil 6113
feel endangered w/o a manual...

i have a brand new cordless carving knife model 6113, however, it does not have a manual. i am afraid of using it. i cannot get it to unlock. do you know where the manual is for this? thanks a lot~

0 The safety lock is located on the bottom of the knife handle, it's red. You slide it back with your middle finger, then depress the longer part using your index finger. When you release it it will lock again. Make sure the knife is turned on. Mine is very old and the batteries won't charge adequately enough to make it function. I found your post while looking for a replacement. Good luck.
