i recently had the clr2060 with pump installed. The unit was making a high pitch noise every time the unit fills with water. I was told by a service tech that the water value was going bad. I ordered one and he replaced, noise still going on. I had the same tech out to fix a piece on a new range and brought this to his attention. Then I was told that it may be to much air pressure to unit, since it only makes this noise when it is filling with water. I have ordered a new piece where the water line connects in the back of the unit, and have requested a different service company. However i was also told it could be the solenoid switch. What i thought was going to be a wonderul addition to my new kitchen has turned into a great disappointment. Does anyone have a clue what could be causing this noise. Also the unit does not seem to be making as much ice as before i guess it could be looking for things now, that I not happy.
