This equipment is in a boat - I replaced the Water...

This equipment is in a boat - I replaced the Water inlet valve and put on a new fill tube; there's water to the inlet valve but there must be something that triggers the inlet valve to open and fill the tray. The inside of the icemaker is cold but it just won't cycle. Any ideas?
