What are the instructions for using the self-clean...

What are the instructions for using the self-cleaning feature of the oven? (I'm not sure about the model #, but it is a built-in Viking Professional single oven w/ convection capability.) I turned the left dial to self-clean and the right dial to clean and removed all the racks. How do I know when the cycle is complete?
