What does it mean when the bar of lights indicating the temperature of the unit is blinking? Is that normal?

3 I have the same problem. It seems to occur at night, probably during a defrost cycle when the evaporator pan is full of water and the float switch has been closed. Try manually emptying the drain pan on the bottom right side of the unit.
