1 This is the recipe I use: (there are many variations, like instead of anise, add cinnamon!) 3 eggs 3/4 cup sugar 1 3/4 cup flour 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1/2 teaspoon anise extract 1/2 cup butter or margarine, melted 2 teaspoons baking powder Beat eggs and sugar. add cooled melted butter and vanilla and anise. Sift flour and baking powder and add to egg misture. batter will be stiff enough to be dropped by spoon. Can be refrigerated to use later. makes 30 pizzelles.
