I have a VERY OLD West Bend cooker. It is a metal pot with a glass lid. It sits on a heating plate. The heating unit has a dial that goes from 1 to 5. I need to find out waht these numbers refer to. for example: is 1 Warm or low? Is 5 high or too high to cook on. If I want to cook on low or medium which numbers do I set it on. Pls advise asap. Thanks

0 I have the same slow cooker and the same problem knowing what the numbers indicated. I found this temperature guide on the West Bend site. If the link doesn't work, go to www.westbend.com and go the the Frequently Asked Questions tab. Click on the "slow cooker" link and then "temperatures." Hope this helps.
