0 I bought one brand new froma department store, and there was no manual included. I first asked about this manual several months ago -- I'm now convinced that it never existed. I did, however, discover how to use the appliance by visitng a 'coffee lovers' site called coffeegeek.com and scanning about the web for info on similar espesso machines. The machine works a treat -- too bad you have to jump through so many hoops to learn how to use it. I hope this is of assistance to you as well
