The water filter keeps freezing up. How do I prevent this from happening?

5 When was the last time it was replaced? These filters last only about 90 days. They are usually located on the bottom of the fridge. Sounds like the filter may be damaged or cracked slightly. So changing it should resolve this issue. Also you can follow the water line starting at where the feed starts and trace it back while checking to make sure all the connections are secure. The hose usually will just slide into the fitting to get it off you will see a little sleeve type thing where the hose goes into the fitting this must be depressed and pulled out at the same time
