why is the fridge part of my westinghouse refriger...

why is the fridge part of my westinghouse refrigerator freezing everything? it has always been on 3 degrees and nothing has ever frozen but all of a sudden its freezing. I have put the temp up to 5 degrees but nothing has changed. Thanks!
