My built-in convection oven was installed by an electrician but apparently he did not do a proper job. Upon examination the control panel is fastened only on one end and it appears that a rail for the right side was not installed. At the bottom, there is an open space with a metal flap angled downward on a 45 degree angle. It seems to me that there should be a covering plate.
