the door to my whirlpool dishwasher GU2275XTVY1 dr...

the door to my whirlpool dishwasher GU2275XTVY1 drops when I open it and also leaks. The door also feels loose. I found a small black sleeve on the floor when this happened. Is my dishwasher fixable? I bought it from lowes in March 2010 and the warranty has expired.
