Trying to fix my father in laws old standing freez...

Trying to fix my father in laws old standing freezer....when I plug it in, the unit starts and cools for a few minutes and then shuts off all power. I suspect it is a faulty relay-start or overload part or the run capacitor. The model number is EV200NXAN00. Looks like it was made in 1993? AY ideas?
