Question About Whirlpool Garbage Disposal GC2000
Need help trouble shooting a GC2000 disposal...

I have a 4 year old GC2000 garbage disposal and it is not working. The motor sound is quiet and it is not disposing plus it is plugged (water takes a long time before it drains). What can the problem be? I checked to see if any thing is stuck but could not feel anything. Do I need a new one? Please help!

4 I PRESSED THE RESET BUTTON AND ALL I HEAR IS A HUMMING SOUND FROM THE DISPOSAL

2 sound of disposal is suddenly quiet. Happened before and my husband pressed reset button and all was well. I can't find it. Help! I think it's red and on bottom (underneath) but I'm not sure.
