5 It's possible that the keypad has shorted. Hopefully, this is a new item and is under warranty still. Another suggestion: there may be some type of moisture accumulation (typically grease or oils). If you're up to it, try this (be careful, I can in no way assume any kind of responsibility if you cause any type of damage or are injured): 1. Unplug everything. 2. The touchpad connects by a pair of connectors, to the left of the lights. 3. Remove the bottom panel and locate the connectors. 4. Disconnect and clean the connectors with electrical contact cleaner. 5. Reconnect. 6. Reassemble. 7. Plug in and test. Hope this helps.
