How can I reset clock after power outage? Every ...

How can I reset clock after power outage? Every time I reset clock and then hit clock button again, a "Start?" question appears. I just want the clock to run, but the time remains the same. If I hit the clock button again, the clock shuts off entirely. Note: Both the microwave and stove are off when I am doing this. Many thanks, Lynn
