Question About Whirlpool Oven AKZ146/1X
button in middle won't depress...

had a storm 2 nights ago...turned electric off, turned it back on and now oven wont work as we can't depress the middle button...husband taken front off and button is working inside but cant take the button out to clean it......please help !!!!
