Question About Whirlpool Oven RB270PXY
Heating element problem...

Upper Oven- When baking, both bake and broil elements heat during preheat. Once at temperature only the broil element comes on to maintain temperature, not the bake element. Why is this doing this? How do I repair?

0 I now have the same problem. Informed that the control panel needed to be replaced ($380 for the part). Part is on order..hope that is the problem as I otherwise love my oven and really don't want to replace itl

0 I have the same issue. When set to bake the bottom heating element does not heat, only the top. Would like to have confirmation that it is a control panel fault.
