I was using the self cleaning feature on my upper oven. I noticed about 1.5 hours into the process that all the panel lights had gone black and the oven was silent. No breakers had blown. The upper oven is still locked, and the light does not come on in the lower oven when it is opened. Help!!!!

5 Turn off the breaker. There is a resettable switch that opens when it gets too hot called a thermal cut out (TCO). It is most likely located behind the control panel and with the upper oven door locked it will not be easy to access it. If the oven is not screwed into the cabinet you can move it out onto a makeshift platform constructed from milk crates and 2x4's. if it is screwed to the cabinets you will need to cut the screws with a hacksaw blade or sawzall. Once the oven is out you can remove the top cover panel and search the wiring diagram for the TCO. Reset it and get the oven door open. Before running a self clean cycle again, check to see if the cooling fan runs and if the airflow is blocked.
