I just moved into a house and a Whrilpool Designer Style Refrigerator came with it. A long story short the house had no power for a couple years and the refrigerator sounds like its working but doesn't get cold and the freezer kind of works . Meaning ice is keeping frozen but I need to get a thermometer to be for sure. Any general ideas on what could be wrong. The Frig is stamped 10/24/95 so it no spring chicken. Think it's best to recycle it and find something working? Or worst case how much?
