Question About Whirlpool Water Dispenser WHER25

I have had this system for a year. Once a month it seems to not work properly = gives very little water. Whirlpool had suggested I remove the 3 cartridges and reinstall. Usually this works. This time however, it seems there is a lot of "pressure" and it is near impossible to put them back on. Any suggestions?
