I have the manual, while nice, it does not help me...

I have the manual, while nice, it does not help me with my problem . I need a maintence manual, I have a water leak INSIDE when I use the hot water button HELPPPPPPP.... How do I get the top off? I have removed the screws but the top will not release from the front.
