Mine has only failed to heat. I bought it from so...

Mine has only failed to heat. I bought it from some one and I guess that was why they wanted to sell it in the first place. .. makes really cold water but has never once heated water, no red light comes on, on the rear power switch or on the "hot" .icon on front side. Does anyone know or can suggest anything I appreciate it
