Whirlpool Gold series water dispenser will not dispense water when glass is put against the flapper .Ice will not dispense either. Is spring broken in flapper because we hear a clicking sound when glass pressed against the flapper. Have replaced water filter recently and water and ice worked for a week . Then we ran into this situation. Any information would be helpful. I am mechanically inclined and is this something I could fix short of hiring a technician at $70/hour.
