We had a local power outage last night & the refrigerator won't stay on. It cycles on (compressor & fan) compressor shuts down after 10-15 seconds & bad smell comming from area...possable leak???...Idk...HELP White Westinghouse model#MRT15DRED6 11/97

0 Good Afternoon josephenorth0094, thank you for your post! Based off the information you have provided your White-Westinghouse refrigerator is not staying on and there is a bad smell inside of your refrigerator. This could be a possible issue with the control panel or sealed system. I would recommend having a professional technician out. They will be able to disassemble your refrigerator and accurately pinpoint which component has become faulty. This will help you avoid multiple unneeded part purchases.
