One of the switches on the hob when uses blows the fuse. I've only recently had the switch replaced and it's starting blowing fuses again. As anyone had a problem with the ceramic hob that causes the switch to go. Also does anyone know how to remove the top off the cooker to get to the switches thanks

1 *** MAKE SURE UNIT IS DISCONNECTED FROM POWER SUPPLY, LIVE COMPNENTS UNDER HOB TOP *** lift up and gain access to underside of ceramic hob top: locate and unscrew the 2 self tapping screws to the left and right sides of the top oven aperture. You will need to open the top oven door to get to them. The whole ceramic hob assembly can then be tilted upwards with the back edge as the 'hinge'. Take care with the two earthing cables that may become stretched in the process, proceed with care.

1 The guy asked how to replace the switch, which is what I need to know! If you cannot get the hob top off, you shouldn't even think of replacing switch. Does anyone know how to acquire and replace the switch?

0 I have the same problem, 2 of my switches occasionally emit an electrical 'bang' and associated smoke, but cannot work out how to get to them to replace, any help would be appreciated into how to fix and why this apparent shorting out happens in the first place.
